Kathryn Lynard Soper (President) is a writer and editor of creative non-fiction. She recently edited an anthology of personal essays titled Gifts: Mothers Reflect on How Children with Down Syndrome Enrich Their Lives (Woodbine Press, 2007). She serves as editor-in-chief of Segullah: Writings by Latter-day Saint Women. She lives with her husband Reed and their seven children in the mountain west. Kylie Nielson Turley (Vice President) is an instructor of Honors University Writing at Brigham Young University and the editor of Insight, BYU’s Honors Magazine. She is on the board of the Association for Mormon Letters and has worked with Segullah since its inception. Besides personal essay writing, she publishes in the field of Mormon and Utah history and recently won Utah Historical Quarterly’s best general interest article of 2005. She and her husband, Steven, are the parents of five children.
Justine Dorton (Secretary/Treasurer) has a degree from Brigham Young University and extensive experience as a convention organizer and public relations specialist. She left her career for the opportunity to raise her children full time. Her other pursuits at home include managing her husband’s business and writing non-fiction; she has published several articles and is currently crafting a longer work. Justine and her husband, Don, are the parents of five children.
